Your place is confirmed by the club. Trial sessions are free, regular courses require membership, and safety and respect apply in every session.
1. General information and confirmation
TräningsAkademin is a non-profit sports club offering training for children and adults. These terms apply to course registrations, trial sessions and participation in the club’s activities.
A submitted form is a request for a place. Registration becomes valid when TräningsAkademin has confirmed the place in writing. Rights granted by mandatory law are not limited by these terms.
2. Membership
- Membership is required for regular participation in a course.
- Membership applies per calendar year.
- The membership fee is normally non-refundable once membership has been registered.
- Members must follow the club’s statutes, these terms and the instructor’s safety directions.
3. Course registration and payment
Once a place has been confirmed, payment details or an invoice are sent by email. Payment must be made by the date stated in the message, normally within seven days. An unpaid place may be offered to another participant after a reminder.
The course fee covers the course or term stated in the confirmation. Any annual membership fee is charged separately.
4. Trial sessions
One trial session may be booked free of charge, subject to available places and confirmation from the club. Membership is not required for the trial session.
5. Cancellation and absence
Please cancel as soon as possible if you cannot use the place. The membership fee is not normally refunded. A course fee for a course that has started is not normally refunded.
In the event of illness or injury, contact the club. A full or partial refund of the course fee may be considered based on the circumstances and, when relevant, supporting documentation.
6. Changes or cancelled sessions
TräningsAkademin may adjust schedules, instructors, venues or course content when necessary. Participants will be informed in good time whenever possible. If the club cancels an entire course, the unused course fee will be refunded. A single cancelled session may instead be replaced when reasonably possible.
7. Participation and safety
- Participants train according to their own ability and follow the instructor’s directions.
- Tell the instructor before training about an injury or limitation that affects safe participation.
- A parent or guardian is responsible for providing relevant information for a child participant.
- Do not enter sensitive health information in the website’s free-text field. Contact the club directly if necessary.
8. Clothing and equipment
Wear soft training clothes without zips. Remove earrings, rings, necklaces and other jewellery before training. We train barefoot. Boxing gloves are available to borrow for Martial Arts Basics unless otherwise stated.
9. Insurance and personal belongings
Participants are responsible for checking that they have suitable accident insurance. TräningsAkademin is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings. This does not exclude liability where liability follows from mandatory law.
10. Conduct
Everyone must treat instructors and other participants with respect. Harassment, bullying, threatening conduct or uncontrolled violence is not accepted. The club may pause or end participation when the rules are seriously or repeatedly breached, after considering the circumstances.
11. Photos, video and personal data
Consent for photos and video is requested separately and does not affect the right to participate. Consent can be withdrawn for future use by contacting the club. Personal data is handled in accordance with our privacy policy.
12. Contact and updates
Questions about these terms can be sent to george@traningsakademi.se. The terms may be updated when the activities or legal requirements change. The date shown at the top identifies the current version.
